Lyons Will Estate 'Greenways Hill' Gamay 2025

Situated in the picturesque Macedon Ranges, Lyons Will Estate has a simple motto: "Look after the vines & the vines will look after the wine’. They must be looking after these vines very well, because the resulting Gamay is outstanding. An offspring of Pinot Noir, Gamay dates back to the 14th Century in France, where it is now the signature grape grown in the region of Beaujolais. Due to its delicate skin, you will find it planted in Australia's cool-climate regions, which brings us to the Macedon Ranges. 

Situated ~530m above sea-level, Renata and Ollie have produced a juicy, food-friendly red that is all class and style. Very light on the tannins, a hint of smoke before the vibrant red fruits seal the deal. The angels sing & the gang asks for another bottle.
