Third-generation winemaker Thierry Navarre has his own little slice of paradise in Languedoc, France's gateway to the Mediterranean Sea. An hour in from the coast, Thierry is committed to continuing the old grape varietals native to the region, and we are all the better for him doing so.
In this case, it is his Oeillades, a cousin of Cinsault, this has a light red hue, soft tannins and a fun bouquet of red cherries, redcurrant and violets. Delish.
