Ferment occurred in amphora open top fermenters / pressed off to settle then added back into amphora for 7 months of ageing 


Deep purple in the glass, the nose is vibrant and sweet fruited. Aromas of grapes, oyster shell, earthy clay, black jelly bean, black tea, jerusalem artichoke and orange peel. On the palate it’s smooth and seductive, dark cherries, spiced plum. Glossy acidity from the Nero d’Avola addition keeps it refreshing and grippy; finishes with an after breath of dried violets and righteous tannins.
